The Life of Jesus ChristJesus, son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, sacrificed himself to save the people. He is the center of Christianity who has preached a message concerning salvation, love, and caring for the poor or those in need. Jesus was a good man and was not discriminatory to others, he was equal. Though many did not believe He was the son of God, yet some did not believe in him. Jesus was tortured for claiming to be God, and hung by his hands on a cross, which led to his death. However three years later he rose (resurrection) and said he would one day be back. Jesus's followers grew as a result of these miracles he had performed. They believed him to be the "Messiah" (the "anointed one"), their savior who would bring peace among the world. There are many holidays we have that celebrate different parts of his life and teachings, and because so, Christianity remains one of he largest religions throughout the world today.
